·  At first you need to know the settings for your wireless connection. The settings will include things like encryption key, the name of your wireless network or access point, passphrase and WEP Key.

·  If you have already set up your printer with a wireless network connection you will need to reset your printer’s card. With this reset all network settings will be returned to its previous stage such as the factory default settings. For that you will need to press up or down arrow to select “Network” and then you will need to click on “OK”. After that you will have to press up or down arrow to select “Network Rest” and then press “OK” to reset. Then you will need to press “Yes” to apply the changes.

·  If you have not set up your printer with a wireless connection previously then you will need to go the wireless “Setup Wizard”. For that you will first need to select “Network” by clicking on up or down arrow. After that you will need to click on “WLAN” and then “OK” to continue. Then you will be able to select “Setup Wizard” and after clicking on that you will need to click on “OK” to go to the next step.

·  Then you will be able to select your network name and then you will have to press “OK”.

·  When the machine will ask you to provide your network key you will have to enter the exact key and then you will need to press “OK” to continue.

·  Now you will need to press “Yes” to apply the changes. If your machine is displaying that it is connected you need to understand the connection is successful.

·  Then you will need to wait for a while and then you will need to print the “Network Configuration” report to confirm that your printer has developed a valid IP address from your router.


·  Now you will need to check whether the IP Address listed on the report is valid for your network. If yes then your printer has successfully setup wirelessly.
